The National Marine Manufacturers Association has reported that new powerboat registrations are up 6.4 percent since last year. In addition to powerboat sales, the personal watercraft segment is up 7.1 percent, pontoon segment is up 9.7 percent, and saltwater fishing boat segment is up 7.8 percent, placing all three segments as high-volume growth leaders. 27 foot boats and larger experienced an increase of 11.4 percent.
